As the clock turns to 2026, we are crossing more than a calendar year: this is a pivotal cycle for Chinese companies going global and for deep Europe-China tech integration. Amid AI paradigm shifts, life-science breakthroughs, and the urgency of energy transition, EFCI chose not to chase noise but to be a steady escort for Europe-China innovation collaboration.
EFCI has never defined itself as a mere association. We are building an innovation ecosystem that empowers both directions: scientists from leading universities provide intellectual credibility, business leaders from international companies build networks of trust, and cross-border practitioners connect the operational nodes between Europe and China.
Over the year we hosted a dozen high-level events: deep-dive closed-door sessions on AI, brain-computer interfaces, healthcare, and green energy; gala networking in Paris; and precise matchmaking that connected members to local European resources. No empty networking — every event was built around real go-global questions.
Deep collaboration with École Polytechnique and HEC Paris marked a milestone in entering Europe's mainstream innovation circles. As a core co-organizer of the Impact Hackathon, we brought academic research and industry practice into one collaboration — a direction we will double down on in 2026.
